1. All fashion jewellery (= Costume jewellery)
All jewellery pieces that have a base of alloy, copper, brass can't be worn in water. Please note that these items are not intended for long-term use. They are prone to rapid discolouration, which can vary depending on individual skin conditions or the way of management. Consequently, we do not provide irresponsible product warranty services to our customers for those items.
Some customers may experience jewellery discoloration within a day, while others may enjoy intact products for several months. It's crucial to understand that the duration can vary based on individual skin conditions, oil levels, and maintenance methods. However, rest assured, we are aware of this fact, which is why we strive to sell all fashion jewellery at more reasonable prices. Knowing they are not long-lasting items, we offer them at even lower prices and provide guidance to our customers. Regardless of durability, if you're seeking stylish products, we still recommend our fashion jewellery.

2. Gold plated stainless steel product without PVD coating
Stainless steel jewellery without PVD coating is known for its durability, allowing for longer wear compared to fashion jewellery. However, extended wear can still lead to discoloration over time. Especially in the case of stainless steel without special plating, there is still a risk of discoloration, so we strongly recommend keeping it away from water. Please understand that stainless steel is not pure gold but plated jewellery if it's gold color. Plated jewellery will inevitably change color over time, and this is a natural occurrence with plated pieces. The extent of color change can vary depending on the environment, with your skin condition being a major factor. While some people can wear plain stainless steel jewellery for up to two years without issues, others might experience discoloration in a shorter period. Please understand that individual skin oil does not determine the quality of the product.

3. Gold plated stainless steel product with PVD coating
Our selected gold plated stainless steel products that have a base of PVD coating (=heavy plating) 14k & 18k gold plated stainless steel can be worn in water with no risk of tarnishing in short term. The products are 10 times more durable than normal gold plated stainless steel jewellery, and for this reason it can be worn in water with no risk of tarnishing. It's a material known for its durability, allowing for longer wear, and many of our customers enjoy water activities while wearing it. That's why we call our PVD coating stainless steel products waterproof.
Sometimes, there are misunderstandings about this. Some people believe that this means PVA coated stainless steel jewellery will never change its gold color or that it is at minimal risk of discoloration. This is partly true but also partly false. To understand this better, it's important to know the meaning of the term "Non-tarnishing". "Non-tarnishing" means it's not gonna oxidise your skin, which also means it won't leave any black or green marks on your skin. This is not about the gold color itself but whether the stainless steel metal oxidizes on your skin or not. If you wear PVD coated stainless steel jewellery, you don’t need to worry about your skin causing oxidation as you might with fashion jewellery. Despite this, the gold plating will be maintained, allowing you to enjoy your jewellery for a longer period. This is the difference between fashion jewellery and stainless steel jewellery
But remember, PVD coated stainless steel jewellery with gold plating does not mean 100% pure gold or other expensive fine jewellery. While it offers advantages such as no-oxidation (=tarnish free) and durability in water compared to fashion jewellery, it does not mean it will never discolor. Due to the natural properties of plated jewellery, discoloration may begin depending on how often you wear and use the jewellery. In fact, we have found that 99% of our customers can use our waterproof jewellery for over two years without any issues, while 1% have experienced discoloration within one to three months (Proudly there has not been a single instance of skin oxidation=Tarnishing issue to date). If any part of your jewellery's surface starts to discolor within a short period, it may be influenced by how you use the jewellery, the environment, and the condition of your own skin. This is a potential cause of discoloration for PVD coated stainless steel jewellery that comes into contact with human's skin. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a perfect solution for this issue, but recommend using 9-carat jewellery (no plating jewellery). Remember, this isn't 100% pure gold or expensive fine jewellery!
We are aware of these factors and do not offer guarantee services irresponsibly. Instead, we continuously provide customers with detailed information about our products and avoid selling products at excessively high prices.
While most of our customers enjoy wearing their jewellery freely and swimming without issues, if you wish to extend the longevity of your jewellery, please follow these guidelines. Please remove it when showering, avoid lotion, and spray perfumes away from jewellery if you can. Please remember that water and chemical substances (such as perfume, spray, or lotion) are distinctly different. If you have showered or gone swimming at beach, gently wash your jewellery with clean, lukewarm water and then dry it thoroughly with a soft towel. If you treat the product preciously, your product will shine longer than we expected with no issue of tarnishing (no skin oxidation).
Please be a smart customer with us. Please compare, touch, and use your product to make sure you understand it well. That's the first step in using your jewellery for longer.

However, always remember: nobody knows your skin better than you do. It's your responsibility to know what allergies you have and which materials you should be cautious about wearing. Don't expect us to provide the perfect answer for your skin condition that you may not even be aware of.
However, please note that Hypoallergenic jewellery and nickel-free jewellery are totally different in the way they are designed to be safe for people with metal allergies or sensitivities!
Hypoallergenic jewellery is designed to reduce the risk of an allergic reaction in people with sensitive skin or metal allergies. It means that the materials used to make the jewellery are less likely to cause an allergic reaction, but it does not necessarily mean that the jewellery is completely free of allergens, especially from Nickel. Hypoallergenic jewellery can still contain trace amounts of allergens.
Nickel-free jewellery is designed specifically for people who are allergic to nickel. Nickel is a common metal that is often used in jewellery, but it is also a common allergen. Nickel-free jewellery is made without nickel, which means that it is safe for people with nickel allergies or sensitivities. So, while all nickel-free jewellery is hypoallergenic, not all hypoallergenic jewellery is nickel-free. When shopping for jewellery, it's important to look for pieces that are labeled as hypoallergenic or nickel-free and to check the materials used in the jewellery to ensure that they are safe for you to wear. It's important for you to check your skin allergy condition and the materials used in the jewellery before purchasing. It is your responsibility to know well about your skin condition and product details in advance for safety please.
**If you complain about gold plating allergies after purchasing our gold plated stainless steel product even though we explained the material, we will not take any responsibility! So please be fully aware of your skin allergies at first and purchase a safe product that is not relevant. This is a responsibility you should have.
